Alka is cool

Hello once again. I’ve found it somewhat difficult to update this recently due to the inherently boring nature of my so-called life. Not to be pessimistic or depressing but it’s been just over two weeks since school got out and my life has been relatively uneventful since then. Tina’s surprise party last week was surely interesting to say the least. I think the reason my mother gets so annoyed when I go out too much is due to the fact that she pays for my gas; at the current price, and the way I drive (inefficiently sums it up ), I wouldn’t blame her.

On the brighter side of things, Cornell sent me a cookie-cutter type letter via the college counseling office (more legit:?:). Anyhow it’s slightly exciting seeing as to I don’t know any Asians getting recruited for anything besides being a stellar mathelete. How they got my information, i haven’t the slightest idea but where this goes from here on out, I’ll have to wait and see.

But basically that sums up my boring life so far. As you can see, there wasn’t much to summarize. As they say, a picture is worth 1000 words so I’ve also posted up some random pics from the last couple of weeks. Have fun with that. Also regarding the title…yes, Alka is soo cool for coming up with such a creative title. This post wouldn’t have been possible without her help. Thank her. 8). Anyways before I go, I’ve been contemplating buying a new cellphone (new RAZR unreleased in America). Is it really worth the $300-$400+? I dunno, help me decide.

You Better Be Running

This is my favorite running quote ever:

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed.

Every morning a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death.

It doesn’t matter if you are a lion or a gazelle. When the sun comes up, you better be running.

Anyways, now I have to choose between running for a track club or playing football. Someone please choose for me:!:

I survived…just barely

After a hiatus from updates, I finally return. Did you miss me? Well, quite a lot has been going on since my last post, the most important being, school’s over. But we’ll get to that later. So begins my series of anecdotes describing quite possibly the most annoying/difficult week of my life; the week from Hell.

Exam Shenanigans

There’s officially one day left of school. How am I supposed to enjoy this fact when I have my math and history exam weighing on my conscience. It hurts deep within my soul. Good luck everyone else with exams…I’ll talk about states next time.
